Where We Belong

While we might have changed a lot since our high school days, according to Emily Esfahani Smith, author of “The Power of Meaning; Crafting a Life that Matters,” (Crown, 2017, New York, New York), one attribute is still the same: we have a need to belong. In high school, this need to belong can influence and change attire, hairstyle and even actions. The same is true as adults; we, too, want to belong.
